![]() Aside from that I haven't seen much else from the few times I have been joining pubs these past years, but there might be others which could promote cheats, products, etc. ![]() I know there are some nets which in the past promoted paid bot "protection" in chat as one example where some tried to get money out of it. There is a large subset of people who care a lot (or too much) about the game and who often publicly complain about it/contribute to community drama, and from that I can only guess that the bots target those sorts of people so that the bot controllers satisfy some anti-socialness or amusement by stirring up the people on reddit and twitter.Īdditionally, I also think there are people who might do it also for the technical challenge, as in they think it would be interesting to deploy their own networks of uniquely configured bots and see how they perform or how far they can get to mitigate bans/ban waves. I think the majority of them are motivated to continue doing it because it pisses off the largely aspergic base.
